Maryland Sheep & Wool

It’s hard to believe that Maryland Sheep & Wool is only 7 days from today!  Kristi and I are so excited and have some really fun things planned for you this year.

We will be located in the All About Yarn in Tent E-3.
There will be lot’s of Breathless, Breathless DK, Homage, Haven and Honey Worsted with us.

Be sure to sign up for our email list (it’s on the bottom of the linked page) to get money saving coupons for Breathless and Homage to use at the show.

On Saturday we will have mini skeins of Breathless DK to hand out.

And on Saturday FickleKnitter will be joining us from 2:00 - 2:30 for a meet and greet!


We will have a sample of her Breathless One Skein Shawl and the pattern available all weekend.




On Sunday

MindofWinter aka Julia Trice will be at our booth from 10:30 - 11:00. We will have her fab patterns like Adiri and Sola available all weekend too!

If you are like many knitters, it seems to take forever to choose a pattern to go with yarn or vice versa. Our Indulge Me! Club takes the guessing out of what pattern goes with what yarn. Indulge Yourself in 2013!

When Kristi and I started talking about a club to showcase our favorite Shalimar yarns, we both knew right away that we wanted to bring some of our favorite designers along with us. The first step was choosing which yarns to include in the club and then how many shipments we thought knitters would enjoy having. Between phone calls, emails and texts we chose four of our luxurious yarns and paired them up with fantastic designers: Michelle Miller aka FickleKnitter, SpillyJane, Tabetha Hedrick aka tabismiles, and Beth Kling aka Owlish. 

We both kept thinking that knitters are such generous people.  We are constantly knitting for friends, family, coworkers and charity.  What way would be the best way to help a knitter feel a little spoiled than to be able to knit with beautiful yarns and patterns?  Kristi came up with the Indulge Me! name and I think it's perfect!  What better way is there for a knitter to indulge themselves, than with some luxury yarns? Not only will the projects be a joy to knit, but the knitter can then (if she or he is inclined) gift the finished project to a deserving friend.

Indulge Me! Designer Spotlight

Our new Indulge Me! Club has four fab designers.  The first is Michelle Miller, aka FickleKnitter.  Our first month's shipment will include a stunning shawl pattern by Michelle  designed especially for the Indulge Me! Club. Michelle is a very talented designer and such a wonderful and fun person. I had a chance to meet her at MDSW last year and then again at TNNA. We are so excited to be working with her!

Michelle Miller at fickleknitter.com has been writing knitting patterns professionally since 2008. She combines her love of mathematics and knitting and takes joy in her knitting (almost) every day. Michelle has been published regularly with articles and knitting patterns appearing in magazines and books since 2009.
