We couldn't be more excited
about our first collaboration with babycocktails! Ace designer
Thea Colman has created
Here's Thea's
description of this amazing little cardi:
'Baileys is a
delicate cardigan for the beginning of spring. A cable and lace motif in a
seemingly complex pattern (really, it's not!) coupled with ladylike buttons and
a silk /merino/cashmere yarn in a creamy beige gives a very feminine vibe to
this simple sweater.
The lace is
accented by a detailed button band and collar, but the back and sleeves are
simple stockinette. A folded hem gives a strong edge, balancing out the detailed
fronts. Shaping is centered on the back, so modifications are still possible,
and the cardigan is knit from the bottom up for minimal seaming and ease when
decreasing in lace'.
